This week we have done an activity where we had to collect ten thing that we learned this semester. We chose the Cover Magazine, on it we put the ten news.

This is our beautiful magazine!

In the Wednesday presentation, our star Andrea explain very well it:

''As you can see, we have the Weekly Magazine, with the supermodels and members of the group with the same name. Here you also can see so many news that are related to the information that we consider is more important and we have learned during these six weeks of hard work in Soyer.

We chose the Cover Magazine to do our task as it’s an original and easy way to present the information in Headlines that also attracts the attention of our audience. We have divided the 10 Key concepts, moments or ideas into different sections of our magazine in a random order:

1. First, we have an Exclusive. We have been the first to know that Google has been fined for using pictures that haven’t got a Creative Common License. We totally freaked out when we heard this, as we have been told several times by our teacher Linda what is a CCL and that we must use pictures with it in all of our tasks.

2. Then, we have the Psychological Section. Referring to the first task that we did in groups, we have a kind of questionnaire where the readers have to choose an option about what different pictures suggest to them and depending on their answers, we will tell them which is the mood they have on that moment.

3. Secondly, in the Travelling Section, we wanted to mention one task where, honestly, we were a little bit lost, but we learn from mistakes, so it’s important to remember perfectly the three types of maps that we studied: Mercator, Azimuthal, and Robinson.  And that’s why, in this magazine, you can find an article comparing the three of them, specially dedicated to all our readers that love to plan their own trips!

4. Of course, we absolutely needed an Education Section in our magazine, so, taking advantage of the TPACK task that we did, we have interviewed the famous Youtube Teacher that I’m sure most of you know, Unicoos, about his opinion of TPACK and how he uses it on his virtual lessons.

5. To our creative readers that love to write, they have their own section! We have created a test where they can discover what type of reflections they do, according to the different types that we learned at the beginning of the term. I really recommend you to do it!

6. In our Culture Section, we wanted to remember the exposition that our own group did during the Task 3 about the United Kingdom. I hope you remember that we give some information about the Royal Family and Queen Elizabeth II, and that’s why we wanted to tell you about her grandson’s wedding with the beautiful actress Meghan Markle. Keep reading if you want to know all the details!

7. The same week, our mates from the group Empty21 made an amazing and really interesting presentation about Toxic Relationships, and that’s why, in our Gossip Section, we give you 5 tips to realize if you’re in one. Remember, try to avoid people that want to hurt you! You are all worthwhile on your own!

8. Regarding the Economic Section, we have astonishing news: from now on, textbooks will be free to everyone! But, is it a benefit for families or is it harmful to children learning? As we have learned in Soyer, there are many reasons against textbooks but one of the most known is their price. Thanks to this, everyone will be able to afford them, however, people prefer other alternatives. So it will have results? We will see!

9. Literature section for our library rats now! And we have big news! A group of students of the UMU has won an award for the fable they did in TASK 5 against the use of Textbooks, staying on the subject! Amazing recognition for our university!

10. Finally, one of the things that we liked the most about Soyer is the use of Kahoot, we did one.''

The following list is part of the Task 6. It consists of collect ten concepts  related to what each group has learnt during the course of #SOYER17/18.
