ANALYST

Updated: May 20, 2018

Hello guys!!!! It's Elena again :)

As you might have seen, we have continued with the work that we started last week, but this time we had to read chapter 4 instead of chapter 1 from the book we have mentioned in the last task, which is about complexity and how this affects the relationships at school. We were asked to give 5 examples by writting an script based on fiction situations (one for each part of the chapter which explained different types of relationships at schools) where we illustrate how each one of them would affect a day-to-day teacher’s teaching.

As Linda didn't attend to class on Wednesday, we were asked to record a set of sketches so as to not to waste time in class acting. .In my view, the main purpose of this task is to realise how relationships have an impact on daily school situations, limiting or fostering students learning while being in contact with peers, teachers and with the environment as a whole. Making up fiction examples have made us think of different situations that could happen whenever in the school context.

Furthermore, I think that this activity would make us think of the ways of getting rid of negative inffluences on children's learning. By this I mean that we, as future teachers, we will have to deal with different settings that make students become less productive, such as lowering their motivation by our lack of awareness of their real interests or even trying other students not to influence on their mates actitude toward learning. It is a bid deal, actually.

We have worked so hard as every week... hope you like it :))
