ANALYST

Hi guys!! I’m María del Mar and I have been the analyst of this week.

First of all, I feel that the task of this week is going to be very useful for us in the future, because a graphical novel, in our case a magazine cover, is an alternative way to do a summary of several topics or to tell stories to children and teenagers creatively.

During all these weeks, we have learned loads of concepts that we have highlighted in our works, such as maps projections, the distortion of media, the dark side of textbooks and more and more formal knowledge that are going to be useful now to pass the exam and in the future, to explain those concepts properly to other people, as realistic as possible.

On the other hand, we have learned some non-formal concept such as make a reflection. In the beginning, most of us saw reflections as another activity to have a mark. However, while we were doing all of them, we could see that they improve our work and we could obtain conclusions from it. Another non-formal concept that we have learned is to be better English speakers; it’s true that we haven’t got the best English, instead of that, we’ve been understanding to our teacher, writing every post, learning new vocabulary and doing the presentations in this language. Also, we increase our creativity, because of we always have the same work for all the class, but we are trying to think beyond the task, having different ideas. However, I think that for the next tasks, we could share our works in other social networks apart from our blog and Instagram.

Related to our shyness, make presentations every week help us to be more concentrate and relax, and prepare us from the part as students to present works and projects in other subjects, to the part as professional, to give classes for our future students.

Finally, the last non-formal concept that I want to point out is the cooperation, the coordination between all the members of my group. We have learned how to organize ourselves, because in the beginning, we didn’t know how to manage the time to do the work, but finally, everyone could stand out in her own part of the activity to be on time.

During these six weeks, we have done a hard work, with so effort and organization, preparing us to the second part of the subject, so here we go!!!!!!!!!!
